THE SECOND ALBUM OUT NOW FROM JAPAN'S ARGUMENT SOUL, 'CONFLICT OF CRISIS'TRUE THRASH/POWER METAL
Toshinori Kamiya (vocals), Yoshiyasu Maruyama and Kenichi Teraoka (guitars), Toshihiko Mase (bass), Junji Igaki (drums)Argument Soul is one of the hardest working bands in the Japanese heavy metal scene at present. Constant touring over the past few years, both inside Japan and internationally, has refined the groups sound into a tight and efficient metal machine. Citing influences such as Iced Earth, Vicious Rumors, Nevermore and Brain Storm, Argument Soul combine elements of power metal, thrash metal, and old school heavy metal to create a unique blend of heavy music that is undeniably, Argument Soul. 'Conflict of Crisis' is the follow up to the 2004 debut release, 'Reviving the Truth', which was well received by the Australian heavy metal community and supported by a successful tour with Australian metal stalwarts, Dungeon. 'Conflict of Crisis' has thus far has received rave reviews in the Japanese BURRN! magazine and Young Guitar magazine. The 11-track LP, mastered by Mika Jussila from FINNVOX studios, Finland, showcases the song-writing and melodic prowess of the band, whilst simultaneously highlighting the extreme technical proficiency of this Japanese metal quintet. The Australian release of 'Conflict of Crisis' coincided with two showcase gigs in Melbourne and Sydney with the likes of Dreadnaught, Vanishing Point, and Pain Division. These shows begin a prelude to more extensive local touring throughout the latter half of 2009 and 2010.www.argument-soul.comwww.myspace.com/argumentsoul 'Conflict of Crisis' (physical CD) is in stores now through AmpHead; digitally available through AmpHead/The Orchard.
