Ever
since the first Volume was released, in 2006, the A State of Trance Classics series
has revived and given new life to hundreds of classics. There'd be no today without
a yesterday, so it's time to honour the past and bring them back in full effect!

in the prestigious DJ MAG Top 100 poll four times in a row, in 2007, 2008, 2009
and 2010, as the first DJ in the history of the DJ Magazine and an indication
of his prolific output over the more than 15 years he's been dj'ing and producing.
In 2011, he became second in the critically acclaimed popularity poll, taking
in a Top 3 position for the 8th year running. Being one of the world's most popular
DJ's is just one of his many achievements, but the driving force behind his success
is an overriding passion for dance music.

The success of the show has also spawned to include several parties around the
world, in 2011 the 500th episode of the show was celebrated by hosting five different
parties over five different continents including; Johannesburg (South Africa),
Miami (United States), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Den Bosch (The Netherlands),
and Sydney (Australia). These sold out shows, held over 5 weeks were broadcasted
live for fans all over the world to tune in.
