BUNNY AND THE BULL A new comedy from the director of 'The Mighty Boosh'Exclusive to Dendy Newtown From April 29Amidst all the hilarity of this year's Sydney Comedy Festival, Dendy Newtown will provide yet another reason to laugh yourself silly, when they present BUNNY AND THE BULL, the latest oddball adventure from the creative mind of Paul King, director of cult British TV show The Mighty Boosh. Having screened at Toronto, London and Rome film festivals late last year, BUNNY & THE BULL opens exclusively at Dendy Newtown on April 29. A road movie set entirely in an apartment, BUNNY AND THE BULL follows Stephen Turnbull (Edward Hogg), who having not left the house for months, relives a road trip around Europe with his best mate and alter-ego Bunny (Simon Farnaby), after an infestation of mice wreaks havoc on his precious daily routine. The story of their debauched and chronically underfunded trip is played out in flashback, chronicling a series of bizarre and disastrous encounters including a demented dog-loving tramp (Julian Barratt, The Mighty Boosh), an alcoholic ex-matador (Noel Fielding, The Might Boosh) and the dullest tour guide that ever lived (Richard Ayoade). But it is superstitious waitress Eloisa (Veronica Echegui) who steals their hearts, prompting an unlikely love triangle that takes them from the industrial wastelands of Poland to the bull fields of Spain.http://warp.net/films/bunny-and-the-bull/bunny-and-the-bull-in-cinemas-now
