The Defiance Launch @ Q Station featured guests such as Director Carlton Lamb, stars Damian Rice, Rebekah Moore, Berynn Schwerdt and Lucy Miller, Simon McArthur (General Manager Q, Station), and Suzanne Stanton. Guests were ferried from Man-O-War steps (by the Sydney Opera House) across the harbour at twilight to arrive at Q Station Wharf. Canapés and beverages designed by renowned Executive Chef Reinhard Roithner of The Boilerhouse Restaurant were served on arrival and enjoyed under the stars, al fresco dining, with the comfort of mushroom heaters. A highlight of the evening (apart from the show) was the sensational array of cheeses and mulled red wine served during interval whilst overlooking the harbour. On completion of the show, a dessert buffet including 'warm chocolate pudding with pear' and everyone's favourite 'bread and butter pudding' went down like a treat. About Defiance: The production took place at two locations in the original heritage site - the laundry (Act I) and the hospital (Act II), immersing the audience into the experience with a combination of dramatic portrayals and stunning visual and special effects. Guests were seated inside the same authentic buildings where the stories actually happened. 'Defiance' stars Damian Rice, Rebekah Moore, Berynn Schwerdt and Lucy Miller.
