ERAN JAMES - Ten Songs About
Love
Eran James is a vocal talent to behold, an artist who
has garnered remarkable attention for the extraordinary depth and soul
of his voice. This teen soul sensation from Melbourne is releasing his
second album, 'Ten Songs About Love', on September 8.
The album, featuring the debut single 'Touched By Love' (available on
digital release August 25 - also check out the video HERE: http://www.universalmusic.net.au/Jun07/eranjames_touchedbylove.html),
was recorded in New York and produced by Jay Newland (Norah Jones/Missy
Higgins) and Tom Nichols. His session musicians included players for
Amos Lee, Herbie Hancock, Branford Marsalis, Bruce Springsteen, Billy
Joel, Luciano Pavarotti, Bob Dylan, Al Green and Jeff Buckley.
Growing up in the suburbs of Melbourne, at only 15 years of age, Eran
released his debut album, 'Reviewing The Situation', and the critics
took note. Such a young, vulnerable Aussie kid with an incredible ability
to move people through the raw soul of his voice - the possibilities
were endless, and, suddenly, deservedly, the critics have taken note.
Since then, Eran has continued to grow and mature, as
a person and as an artist. As a result, 'Ten Songs About Love' also
reflects that change, delivering a soulful and rich album with a perfect
balance of soul and pop elements.
