"In Case Of Fire
- write down that name, you're going to want to remember it - prove themselves
one of the best new bands in Britain. Watching In Case Of Fire, you get a similar
feeling to watching Muse back in 1999, where despite the lowly venues it's obvious
that there's a special talent at play, ready to catapult them to the top of their
game." Kerrang!
In Case Of Fire is a 3-piece rock band from Ireland
that has already made waves in the music scene at home in Ireland and throughout
the UK.
IN CASE OF FIRE will see their debut album 'Align the Planets' set
for release in Australia on May 9th 09. It includes the singles 'The Cleansing',
a heady mix of Muse, QOTSA and Mars Volta style rock and ambition, heartfelt and
passionate with epic scope and a mile high chorus, and the MTV2 Spanking New play-listed
'This Time we Stand'.
As well as completing their debut album 'Align the
Planets' with producer Gil Norton (Pixies, Foo Fighters, Echo and the Bunnymen)

well as performances at Download, Oxygen, T in the Park, Rock Am Park and Ring
(Germany) and the Reading and Leeds festivals.
The band have also won an
MTV2 'Spanking New' competition, beating the likes of Adele, Foals, Black Kids
and Likke Li to the viewer's choice of bands to watch out for in 2008. The band
have had press, praise and plays with Kerrang, The Fly, Music Week, Rock Sound,
Q Magazine, Zane Lowe, Huw Stevens, Radio 1 and XFM Rock Show's, XFM play list,

time we Stand'.

and more headline dates and major supports are to be announced through early 09
and around the album.

David McLaughlin - KERRANG! Magazine
-KKKKK:
One of the UK's hottest properties let the secret out. With sirens
humming through the PA the trio march onstage in matching black regalia and white
armbands, their heads down but eyes glinting with a sense of militancy and purpose
that says their time is now
leaving jaws thudding to the floor, where they
remain for the next half hour."
Stephen McCauley - BBC Radio Electric
Mainline:
In Case Of Fire's debut, "Align The Planets" is the
best album to come out of Northern Ireland since Therapy's 'Troublegum'.
Charlotte
Dryden - Alternative Ulster, Iss No 32:
"In Case Of Fire are immense,
this is a band staring in the face of commercial music so intensely, that commercial
music is buckling, blinking and running away screaming for its mummy. This is
racket with a soul; underneath huge waterfalls of guitar are songs like 'Second
Revelation'. Fast furious stuff that people are gonna fall in love with."

It's hard to recall a more savage, unerringly
brutal debut than this offering from In Case Of Fire. This is stadium-sized rock;
combining the theatrical pomp of Muse with the raw power of vintage Therapy, the
trio sound like they were born to rawk their way onto playlists all across America.
Call it melodic metal, call it a Queens of The Stone Age rip-off... either way,
these noisy young Irishmen are going to detonate over2008 like an H-bomb.
David
Roy - The Irish News:
"In Case Of Fire arrive fully formed and ready
to blow your ears off."

'Align
The Planets' is available now through Sony Music.
