Sony
Music recording artist Jessica Mauboy is set to release a deluxe edition of her
platinum-selling album 'BEEN WAITING' on August 21st, offering fans seven extra
tracks plus a DVD of all her video clips and some very special live performances.
'BEEN
WAITING' already features four hit singles - the APRA Award winning 'Running Back'
featuring Flo Rida, the #1 smash 'Burn', 'Been Waiting' and Jessica's latest top
ten hit 'Because'. Later this month Jessica will release a fifth single from 'BEEN
WAITING', the live favourite 'Up/Down'.
Jessica will also be reuniting with
Flo Rida next month, supporting him on his Australian tour. And if that wasn't
enough to keep Jess busy, she will also be joining Beyoncé on her sold
out national tour kicking off in Melbourne on September 15th.
"I am
so excited to be sharing a stage with Beyoncé" says Jessica, "it's
a huge honour and it's going to be one hot show!"
The deluxe edition
of 'BEEN WAITING' features seven extra tracks - including five songs written by
Jessica, plus a remix of 'Been Waiting' and the previously unreleased Jason Nevins
remix of 'Burn'. The DVD includes all four of Jessica's video clips plus her 2008
Australian Idol Grand Final performance of 'Burn' (set against the backdrop of
the Sydney Opera House), her stunning medley of 'Running Back' and 'Been Waiting'
from this year's MTV Australia Awards (at which Jess won the award for Best Aussie),
plus a brand new live performance of 'Up/Down' filmed at Kia Soul Live At The
Chapel in July.
Fans can see Jessica's entire Live At The Chapel performance
on Channel 7 on Saturday, August 23rd at 11:30am and on Channel [V] on Tuesday,
September 1st at 7:30pm. Jessica performs all her hits with her full band and
shows why she is one of Australia's hottest young performers.
Later this
month Jessica's band will join her on stage at the 6th Annual Northern Territory
Indigenous Music Awards, where Jessica is nominated for a massive three awards
- Act of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year for 'Running Back'.
This
week Jessica celebrates her 20th birthday back home in Darwin, before heading
down to Melbourne for the world premiere of Bran Nue Dae - the film in which she
stars alongside Geoffrey Rush, Missy Higgins and Ernie Dingo. Jessica will also
be part of a very special performance at the premiere, performing a song from
the film's soundtrack.
The deluxe edition of 'Been Waiting' is available
in stores and online now.
