A-LIST ENTERTAINMENT presentDirect from America the Host of the successful Fox 8 Reality Television show FEAR FACTOR JOE ROGAN"One of the most complex and exciting stand-ups working in America today. Like an idealistic hippy stuck inside the body of a testosterone-pumped US Marine. He's likened to late great US comedians such as Bill Hicks and Sam Kinison, but although he exhibits a similiar brand of furious indignation, his observations and revelations are entirely his own. His angry, insightful act is an absorbing battle between his raw libertarian instincts and his refined sensibilities." William Cook - The Guardian, America This will be Joe's first visit to Australia and if he is anything like Fear Factor, the hit show he hosts, hold on as he will take you on the ride of your life! Joe has been the host of the successful reality show FEAR FACTOR on Fox 8 (Australia)and NBC (America) for six years. Before that, he played Joe Garrelli, the resident electrician on the hit NBC series "NewsRadio." He was the co-host of The Man Show and the Host of CBS's Game Show In My Head. Joe has two passions in life - Comedy and Martial Arts. Rogan has been performing standup comedy for close to 20 years and has honed an inquisitive and intense comedic style. He exudes a mad joy for life in all its insanity and revels in the art of standup comedy to explore the world with raw honesty. This has made him a National Headliner and a favourite performer at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and a regular guest on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Late Night With Conan O'Brien and The Jimmy Kimmel Show. In 2000, Rogan released his debut comedy album, "I'm Gonna Be Dead Someday" on the Warner Bros label. In April 2007 he released a follow-up CD, "Shiny Happy Jihad" on Comedy Central Records and his debut DVD "Joe Rogan Live" aired on Showtime. Since 2002, Joe has provided colourful commentary for the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) on Pay Per View and Spike Television in America and he also hosts the syndicated show "UFC Wired". Rogan's passion with the martial arts practice started at the age of 13 years and within two years, the Boston native earned a black belt and soon became the Massachusetts full contact Tae Kwon Do Champion for four consecutive years. With his good looks combined with his engaging personality , Joe has managed to forge a successful career in what can only be described as, two diverse art forms - a phenomenal achievement.
