Dainty Consolidated Entertainment has just announced that k.d. lang
will return to Australia for a national tour which will see her perform
concerts in The Hunter Valley, Canberra, Sydney, Perth, Melbourne,
Adelaide and Brisbane in April 2008.
k.d. was last in Australia in 2005 when she performed a record number
of sold out shows throughout the country. The 2008 tour will celebrate
k.d. lang's new album, 'Watershed', which has just been released in
Australia by Warner Music. 'Watershed' comprises 11 new songs written
and produced by k.d., and recorded in California.
'Watershed' is the first album of newly written material from the
four-time Grammy winner since 2000's 'Invincible Summer', and her
first studio album since 2004's acclaimed Canadian songbook, 'Hymns
Of The 49th Parallel'. It is also the first self-produced collection
of her celebrated 25-year career.
A winner of multiple Grammy Awards, lang's live concerts have been
critically acclaimed throughout her illustrious career. K.D. Lang's
