Kid Mac has carved a
name for himself in the Australian music scene with a sound that sets him apart
from other artists and is gaining him recognition and accolade both in Australia
and internationally.
Now with a new single - Nobody Sleep
exposes once again the multi-faceted talents of Kid Mac.
His
last single Hear You Calling gained huge ground swell and earned him a top ranking
on youtube and sold-out shows across the country.
Nobody Sleep
is the lead single from his forthcoming album, No Man's Land, and is bound to
strike the same chords and take Kid Mac to the next level.
Kid
Mac has spent much of the past 18 months in the studio writing and working alongside
Melbourne-based producers Twice As Nice and Grammy award-winning producer RZA
from Wu Tang Clan. A European summer tour at festivals and sell out shows in Amsterdam
were followed by the Playground Weekender Festival & Ripe Festival in Australia
alongside such acts as Lupe Fiasco, Birds of Tokyo, Grinspoon & Washington.
In 2010, Macario aka Kid Mac was awarded Best Urban Artist 2010 at the MusicOz
Awards.
In 2011 he toured as the support act of US artist Mickey Avalon,
as well as share the stage with L.A.'s The Game on his recent LAX national tour.
When hip hop heavyweights Wu Tang Clan recently toured Australia, lead member
RZA personally requested Kid Mac to be added to the lineup which included King
of Crunk, Lil Jon at the Enmore Theatre, Sydney. He also did a headline "Hear
You Calling" national tour with sold out shows.
His collaboration
with Mat McHugh (The Beautiful Girls) "Hear You Calling" has been picked
as the only Australian artist track on the NBA2K12 game soundtrack alongside Hip
Hop heavyweights like Eminem & Busta Rhymes and his highly anticipated debut
album is slated for a March 2012 release.
Look out for national
tour dates over Christmas and early 2012.

Nobody Get Hurt' will officially be launched at Bondi Beach Road Hotel on 17 December.
