LOOKING THROUGH A GLASS ONION
ON TOUR NOW -
DON'T MISS OUT!
"It's the most pertinent,
perceptive and revealingly honest theatrical presentation about the remarkable
life of John Lennon that I know" - Ritchie Yorke (former International Peace
Envoy for John and Yoko Lennon's War is Over If You Want It peace campaign and
author/journalist/rock music historian)
John Waters and Stewart
D'Arrietta (Co-Creator and Musical Director) are currently touring the country
on their 'Back By Demand' leg of Looking Through A Glass Onion which runs from
now through to December. Don't miss out on a chance to see this incredible show!
Phase
1 of the latest Looking Through A Glass Onion tour which commenced in November
2010 and had sold in excess of 25,000 tickets by the time it finished in April
2011, is the highest selling concert tour by an Australian artist so far this
year, an amazing feat for an independent production which has received no radio
airplay support. With previous sold out shows around the country and a two week
season completed at the Sydney Opera House, this is the perfect chance for anyone
who missed out the last time round to catch this spine-tingling production or
will be a second trip down memory lane for fans. The tour revisits some areas
and also travels to new ones including but not limited to North Queensland, regional
WA and a special show at Sydney's State Theatre featuring nine piece Winston O'Boogie
Orchestra.
When you combine Waters' unique performance as John
Lennon with the musical backing of a brilliant four-piece band, you have an entertainment
experience that should not be missed by anyone who has been touched by or intrigued
by the legend of John Lennon and The Beatles. With 31 songs performed including
to name a few, 'A Day In The Life', 'Strawberry Fields Forever', 'Revolution',
'Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds', 'Woman', 'Jealous Guy', 'Imagine' and more, this
is a show for all ages.
As well as starring in Season 2 of
Channel Ten's current hit series Offspring, John Waters has just released his
debut album, Cloudland, at the age of 62.
