Milky Chance Sideshows

Fresh from a European festival season and acclaimed headlining performances at the likes of UK’s Reading Festival and Spain’s Food For Thought, the German-duo Milky Chance will be bringing their summer sounds and vibrant music to their first Australian festival performance at The Falls Festival – and have announced two special shows in Melbourne and Sydney.

In 2013, school friends Clemens and Phillip began work on their full-length debut, Sadnecessary and when they were finished, they uploaded several of the tracks, including the catchy “Stolen Dance” online. With its bright handclaps, plaintive acoustic guitars, and smooth delivery the song became a viral sensation, eventually racking up over 65 million YouTube views. With their fresh and original take on folk, soul and reggae-infused electronica Milky Chance will be one of the must see shows of the New Year.
