Miller Amplified: Exclusive New Music Series
Industry powerhouse Mixmag is making a highly anticipated comeback in Sydney to present the Miller Amplified music series, in partnership with Miller Genuine Draft. The series shines a light on the best local and international artists on the music scene, representing another much-needed win for Sydney’s nightlife in the face of lockout laws.
Launching with a bang this Friday March 23 (2018) at Sydney institution Oxford Art Factory, Miller Amplified comprises 21 unprecedented music events set to take place over the course of the year.
As one of the longest-running and most respected electronic media platforms in the world, Mixmag have re-affirmed their musical prowess by curating an incredible line-up of international and domestic talent to wow crowds week in and week out.
Kicking off the series is critically acclaimed artist Running Touch, ahead of his upcoming national tour supporting Crooked Colours. Combining his talents as a guitarist, pianist, bassist, vocalist and dancer to create his own brand of unorthodox yet captivating experimental electronica, Running Touch has become a triple j favourite over the years, appearing at festivals such as SXSW, Listen Out and Splendour in the Grass.
Fans wanting to get a taste of the action can register for limited tickets here, or jump online as each event will be live-streamed around the globe on Mixmag’s Facebook page. Beer will be flowing on the night, courtesy of Miller Genuine Draft, and Surly’s will be serving up all-American BBQ to keep hunger at bay.

In September and October, the Mixmag and Miller Genuine Draft partnership continues to take over Australia, transforming venues across the country with their signature black and gold interiors and inviting patrons to experience a night of incredible live music. These events form part of the Miller global campaign, When Exceptional Happens, which creates unique opportunities to experience the Miller Genuine Draft brand in an innovative way.
