Mr CBD Returns
The search for Sydney’s sexiest suit is back for its third year – with extra sizzle.
This unique celebration of boys who scrub up spectacularly will be hosted at The Argyle in The Rocks on Wednesday 15th April 2015, with the winning gent crowned in front of an array of celebrities, socialites and excited public ticket holders. On the night, the audience can bid in a charity auction to win a date with each of the six Mr CBD finalists. Funds raised go to Animal Welfare League NSW.
Candidates for MR CBD are scouted throughout March, with the final six contenders selected by a panel of experts on April 7th at the Judges Luncheon*. The finalists are then invited to parade at the MR CBD grand final at The Argyle on April 15th – where the winner will be announced by the celebrity judges. The lucky bloke will score a modeling contract.
High-profile enthusiasts who are delighted to be judging the event include; Donny Galella, TV stylist; Lisa Clark, feisty ex-Big Brother Housemate; Simon Hancock, Sydney socialite and blogger; Sandradee Makajev, St Frock fashion empire founder; Colette Werden, TV style and image specialist, and Taryn Williams, owner of WINK models. The MR CBD event will be hosted by TV personality and veterinarian Dr. Katrina Warren, and former CLEO Bachelor of The Year David Whitehill.
MR. CBD 2015 will take home a host of prizes including; a bespoke suit from Institchu, pampering packages and a portfolio shoot and modeling contract with WINK Models. The night is traditionally a massive flirt-fest, with MR CBD contenders engaging in a battle of wit and charm, as girls in the audience bid for a date with their favourite. Each man comes complete with a night out plus a fabulous package of girlie goodies – with all proceeds raised from the auction donated to Animal Welfare League NSW.
The competition is still open to candidates, and organisers are encouraging stylish, savvy, suit-‐wearing Sydney gentlemen to enter.
