VERY SPECIAL INTERNATIONAL GUEST

One of global dance music's biggest stars will be joining Pacha Sydney @ Ivy on NYE...

CLAUDE VONSTROKE ('Dirtybird', USA)

Off the back of the most talked about performance from Parklife this year, Pacha welcomes Claude to its star studded line up. He has headlined almost every major club, festival and basement after-party in the world from Fabric to Panorama Bar to D'Edge. Claude's debut album more than made his mark on audiences worldwide. He defined a new musical direction through releases such as 'The Whistler' and 'Who's Afraid Of Detroit' that has since made his record label 'Dirtybird' one of underground dance music's most consistent and widely loved. http://www.dirtybirdrecords.com / www.myspace.com/claudevonstroke

SIDNEY SAMSON ('RIVERSIDE', NETHERLANDS)

Currently leading the Dutch global dance music invasion, Sidney 'Riverside Motherf*cker' Samson is a chart toping, club smashing DJ that recently mixed Ministry of Sound's 'Clubbers Guide to Spring' compilation. Off the back of his last sold out Australian tour and with a brand new single 'Shut Up & Let It Go' on radio, Sidney is a welcome addition to Pacha NYE. www.myspace.com/sidneysamson

THE STREETLIFE DJ'S (UK)

As Pete Tong, the most influential man in dance music put it: "if you think Soulwax meets Coldcut meets Sasha and Digweed you're in the right ball park...if there is such a place?" There really isn't a musical boundary that the Streetlife DJs won't cross. Signed to quite possibly the coolest record label in the world Kitsune, Streetlife DJs are the UK's own version of 2Many DJs. They start parties and rock parties and as Flavour Flav once said 'Don't believe the hype'... we all gotta remember that music is FUN! This is a Streetlife party and ya'll invited... see you down the front yeah! www.streetlifedjs.net / www.myspace.com/sldjs

GOLDFISH (SA)

It's hard to imagine that one of the most exciting live electronica acts in the world right now comes from a small city on the southern-most tip of Africa. But the success story behind Cape Towns electronica phenomenon Goldfish, has been nothing short of extraordinary. Two Jazz musos hook up while studying music at varsity, and form a live electronic duo. They record an album themselves with little more than a double bass, a saxophone and a couple of synths. This self-released album, Caught in the loop, goes on to propel them into the stratosphere, with a cult-like following and numerous #1s in their home country. They take their incendiary multiple-instrument live act across the globe, with sold-out shows from Ibiza to Tokyo, from Dubai to Cannes. They open for electronica giants Fatboy Slim, Mr Scruff, The Audio Bullys, Paul van Dyk, Pete Tong and Stereo MC's. They are hailed as the Re-invention of the DJ, and voted best live act in South Africa. www.myspace.com/goldfishlive

GRUM (UK)

"Grum's super-cool D.I.Y. ethic and taste for electronic music old and new means he's probably our hottest tip since Aeroplane first took off" - Ralph Moore, Mixmag - Grum's rise to prominence has been one of Justice-style proportions. Since tracks such as "Heartbeats" first started appearing on blogs like Discodust, Grum's music has been in such demand that HYPE MACHINE recently calculated he was the second most blogged act in the world, behind Radiohead. www.myspace.com/grummmusic

THE ASTON SHUFFLE

Quite simply, Australia's hottest and most in demand DJ/Producers. The Aston Shuffle aka TAS have not only achieved a distinctly identifiable sound - something akin to power-raving on an indie groove - but they've achieved that elusive zen of making it all seem completely bloody effortless. Not just the current #3 DJs in Australia as voted by the ITM Top 50 poll, they are also the darlings of Triple J thanks to hits such as 'For Everyone', 'Stomp Yo Shoes' and 'Do You Want More'. And with their disc of the 2010 Ministry of Sound Annual just about to land, TAS show no signs of slowing down. www.myspace.com/theastonshuffle

GOODWILL (AUS)

He produces several genres of music under several different pseudonyms, leaks his own white label bootleg mash-ups to fellow DJs and onto rocking dance floors, mixes Ministry of Sound compilation after Ministry of Sound compilation, remixes megastars, tours Australia and the world, has an alarming, thankfully rare, stage diving habit, fronts a national radio show, knows far too many people (far too well) and can drink drunks under the table www.myspace.com/djgoodwil
