ME
AND MY FRIENDS
Tony Woolliscroft
The Red Hot Chili Peppers as
you have never seen them before
'We love Tony
and his work so much that he is the only guy we give complete access to for an
entire show. That's how much we trust him.' - Chad Smith, drummer of the Red
Hot Chili Peppers
For the best part of twenty years, rock
photographer Tony Woolliscroft has been following and documenting the world-wide
phenomenon that is the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Woolliscroft has gained unrivalled
access to the band over the years, from their early gigs in hole-in-the-wall venues
to secret shows and record-breaking stadium tours.
Now, at
last, this amazing photographic collection has been brought together in the book
'Me and My Friends: Red Hot Chili Peppers'. Many of Woolliscroft's photos have
never been published, and the myriad backstage shots not only illustrate Tony's
unprecedented access to the band but provide fascinating glimpses of a side of
the Red Hot Chili Peppers
rarely seen.
Woolliscroft's accompanying
text tells the stories behind the pictures, and provides revealing personal insights
into one of the world's most popular, out-there bands.
