Super premium bourbon, Russell’s Reserve, is all about true craftsmanship. Father and son Master Distillers, Jimmy and Eddie Russell, have formed a special bond through their unwavering commitment to crafting truly remarkable bourbon. Each barrel of Russell’s Reserve is hand-selected by either Jimmy or Eddie from the coveted centre-cut of their bourbon rickhouses, where the flavour is most consistent and full bodied.
To honour and celebrate this unique bond made in true craftsmanship, Russell’s Reserve is teaming up with some of Sydney’s master artisans to create a pop-up workspace in the heart of Chippendale at 48 Kensington Street.
The Russell’s Craft Reserve will be open in Chippendale from 12-13 May 2017 during the day where attendees can take part in a range of interactive artisan workshops which will celebrate and bring to life the bond made in craftsmanship enjoyed by the Russells. All daytime workshops will be followed by a Russell’s Reserve tasting session.
Each artisan workshop has been specially designed to give attendees the opportunity to craft a bespoke item. It’s also the perfect occasion to discover more about the origins of craft bourbon, how it’s made and, of course, taste it!
The Russell’s Craft Reserve will also be open for exclusive Russell’s Reserve bourbon tastings on the evenings of 12–13 May 2017.
The Russell’s Craft Reserve workshops and tasting sessions are free to attend. Registration is essential at www.russellsreserve.com.au
