THE SMIRNOFF BLACK ROOMAs an exciting first time event, Smirnoff Black vodka has created a unique environment designed to take guests beyond the everyday sensory overload of modern life by inviting them to re-engage with each of their five senses. Represented as a sensory journey, The Smirnoff Black Room will take guests on a creative voyage of sight, touch, sound and smell, culminating in perhaps the most satisfying of all senses, taste. The Smirnoff Black Room will consist of a series of spaces dedicated to each of the five senses. Each area will contain work from a group of select local artists who have been commissioned to create their personal interpretation of the 'Essence of Black'. Here visitors can set their sights upon works by AFI-winning animation team PRA, renowned fashion photographer Cameron Grayson and dynamic painter and installation artist, James McGrath. Bespoke Smirnoff Black vodka boxes designed to engage the sense of touch will also be on display by paper engineer Benja Harney, jewellery designer Matt Weston, shoe designer Andrew McDonald and glass sculptor Morgan Shimeld.
