Unfortunately few manage to move from the home studio and crack into the industry
professionally due to the many pit-falls that greet budding producers.

Films a local production house based in Sydney's inner West which is creating
big buzz at the moment with the release of its first feature, Cedar Boys through
Mushroom Pictures, is determined to change this by sharing their's and their colleagues
professional knowledge and know how in three carefully crafted specialist film
work shops.
PRODUCTIONS WORKSHOP (WEEKEND OR 3 CONSECUTIVE WEEKNIGHTS)
Targeted
to budding Directors, Producers and Writers and designed to turn film concepts
into profitable documentaries, television and feature films. The module includes:

SHORT FILM COURSE (1
WEEK)
This is a practical film Workshop where participants learn film
making, by making one. From the idea to script to production through to a finished
edited film participants are guaranteed to Direct, Write, Produce and/or Act in
the shoot. Modules will include:
- Brainstorm a short film concept / idea
- Develop your film story and format it
- Cast your film with actors*

ACTORS WORKSHOP
(1 WEEK)
This course is designed to give Actors 'the edge' by getting
professional training and advice from professional actors, coaches, and directors.
The Module incudes:
- Auditioning tips
- How to work on presence

Techniques to help you in feel comfortable in front of the camera

behind show business.
- Finding the right agent
- Creating a CV
- Self
promoting and marketing
