Dubai Tourism will delight Sydneysiders with a cool treat this week, when its Flavours of Dubai pop-up cart, featuring two new bespoke flavours from Gelato Messina, launches at Bondi Junction Westfield.
Working from a traditional Arabian taste palette, the new exclusive flavours – Desert Oasis and The Pistachio Palm – will feature a decadent infusion of honey, rosewater and sweet pastry, as well as saffron with pistachio praline .The new flavours will be available free to the public during centre opening hours from Thursday 18th – Sunday 21st February.
Inspired by the Arabian Desert and the bustling souks of inner city Dubai, the pop-up will give visitors the chance to win a family trip to Dubai worth $20,000 including accommodation at Dubai’s premier entertainment resort Atlantis, The Palm, simply by taking a photo in the pop-up and uploading to social media via the hashtag #TakeMeToDubai.
Winners will receive return flights and 5 nights’ accommodation for a family of 4 in a Deluxe room at Atlantis, The Palm, including breakfast, daily access to the fun and thrilling rides of Aquaventure Waterpark and entry to the mesmerizing underwater world of The Lost Chambers’ Aquarium, home to over 65,000 marine animals.

The Flavours of Dubai pop-up comes as more Australian chefs turn to the city for culinary inspiration. This month, high-profile Aussie chefs including Matt Moran, Manu Feildel, Shannon Bennett, George Calombaris and Gary Mehigan, will be joining chefs from around the globe to participate in the Dubai Food Festival and celebrate Dubai’s emergence as a gastronomic destination.
Many celebrity chefs including Marco Pierre White and Gary Rhodes have opened their first international restaurants in Dubai.
The Flavours of Dubai pop-up will be open on level 5 near Rebel Sport at Bondi Junction Westfield from Thursday 18th February to Sunday 21st February.
