Now in its 30th year, Festa offers all things Italian and attracts more than 100,000 visitors each year into the heart of Sydney’s Little Italy.
Market stalls with great food & wine, and a long communal table for family and friends to get together. There are rides and fun activities for the ‘little kids’ and Auto Festa – Sydney’s largest collection of Italian cars – so the ‘big kids’ can dream about driving an Alfa Romeo, Ferrari or Lamborghini. Cooking demonstrations by ‘Italian chefs with taste’ with samples for visitors to try are a Festa highlight. Entry is free.
Big 3 ‘O’ – Festa’s 30th Anniversario
Sunday, 30 October – 10am to 5pm
The Royal Hotel, right in the heart of Festa on Norton Street, celebrating its 130th year anniversary this year, will again provide Festa visitors with a large outdoor area on the corner of Norton and Carlisle Streets with bar and food service. While families relax nearby, the kids can have some fun on The Royal’s jumping castle. For a bird’s eye view of Festa, The Royal’s recently restored heritage balcony will be a ‘must visit’.
