DANCING HEALS
With four star reviews appearing in major newspapers around the country, Melbourne-based Dancing Heals will continue touring solidly to promote their recently released sophomore album, “You Will Never Be Younger Than You Are Now”. The four-piece indie rock outfit will play Oxford Art Factory on Friday, October 4 (2013), with their good friends Jason & The Lyrebird and more special guests to be announced.
Their recent east coast tour saw the likely lads win a swag of new followers, and Sydney-siders can expect to see more of “the Heals” as they’re affectionately called down south, over the coming months. Entry to the Oxford Art Factory gig is free, and the night commences at 8pm.
“You Will Never Be Younger Than You Are Now’ is available in music stores and on line through MGM Distribution. Produced by Dancing Heals, the album was partly recorded at Echo Mountain Studios in Asheville, North Carolina and at Melbourne’s Sing Sing Studios. All tracks were mixed by Tony Espie (The Avalanches, The Holidays). Some key musical influences are The Travelling Wilburys, Doves and Dandy Warhols all artists who put melody and storytelling at the forefront.
“Great listening.” (The Age)
