Lara Scolari’s Vim Vitae Exhibition To Open
Lara Scolari is thrilled to be back at Maunsell Wickes Gallery. As part of a year of international showings, acclaimed Australian Artist Lara Scolari brings her new series ‘Vim Vitae’ home to Sydney.
Where better to showcase her latest body of works than Sydney’s oldest art gallery, the prestigious Maunsell Wickes Gallery in Paddington hosted by Directors Dominic Maunsell & Ted Wickes.
Lara, one of Australia’s most exciting emerging contemporary Visual artists, will show her versatile, considered and energetic paintings from the 18th through to the 29th of March 2020. ‘Vim Vitae’ expresses and explores the life forces that create the essence of Australia inspired by memory, meditation and music. The eye-catching paintings draw on the spirituality and amazingly translucent colour palette of our natural landscape.
Lara has developed her own distinct approach to ‘abstract expressionism’ using a variety of media, developed experimental techniques and processes. Lara’s artworks create an enlivening space for contemplation, conversation or simply a place to rest your thoughts.
