Scrabble Vision launches this National Scrabble Day
Scrabble – everyone’s favourite word game, has launched Scrabble Vision – a simpler way for everyone to enjoy Scrabble. The app takes the guesswork and chaos out of playing Scrabble, by providing word clues and tips.
Designed to be used alongside players’ existing Scrabble boards, Scrabble Vision brings a contemporary spin to the beloved classic. To use the app, all players have to do is use their phone to scan the Scrabble board and let Scrabble Vision work its magic.
Opening up game night to players of all ages and skill levels, the app enhances the game’s level of accessibility. Helping to minimise squabbles and questioning amongst players – Scrabble Vision includes features such as auto-scoring and a digital dictionary to help out when stuck – while maintaining the fun challenges of the traditional game.
Australian Scrabble fans will soon get the chance to test the new app for themselves. Launching on National Scrabble Day, 13 April 2022, the Scrabble Vision app will be available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
“Scrabble is a staple for so many household game nights, and Scrabble Vision only enhances our favourite traits of the game. Encouraging new ways of wordplay, the app brings great opportunity for fans to experiment with new words and approach the classic in ways they’ve not done before,” said Mattel ANZ Director of Marketing Jacinta Whitehead.
