STARFEST: Sydney’s Biggest Birthday Party as The Star Turns 30
The Star Sydney – Australia’s premier destination for luxury – has just turned 30!
To mark three decades at the heart of Sydney’s entertainment scene, The Star has launched STARFEST: a multi-date live music event showcasing some of Australia’s biggest and best artists.
STARFEST will transform The Star into Sydney’s ultimate live music destination, and will feature headline performances from iconic Australian artists, supported by local, emerging talent, offering something for everyone, from nostalgic hits and dance floor favourites to fresh new sounds.
STARFEST-goers can expect a powerhouse lineup spanning electronic tastemakers, Aussie hip hop icons, and high-energy performers. Headline acts include Bag Raiders, Set Mo, 360, Havana Brown, Kah-Lo and Stafford Brothers, joined by rising stars such as Soju Gang, Talakai, Mowgli May, Gigi, Latifa Tee, Go Freek, and Jaydon Lewis, bringing fresh beats and vibrant energy to the stage.
The party will be the first of its kind at The Star, with the Sports Bar transformed into the STARFEST Mainstage, a full-scale concert experience with capacity for 1,000 guests. This is where STARFEST concerts will come to life throughout October 2025, with headline artists Bag Raiders, 360, and Havana Brown performing on Saturday 11, 18, and 25 respectively.
Beyond the mainstage, STARFEST will unfold across multiple venues at The Star, including Rock Lily, Cherry, and Jade Rabbit, each offering its own unique vibe. Roving entertainers will also bring surprise performances throughout the precinct, ensuring an atmosphere of discovery and excitement unlike anything The Star has hosted before.
To mark this milestone, The Star is giving Star Club Members the chance to win over $1.5 million in prizes in their STARFEST 1-IN-5 Swipestakes promotion. Members can swipe daily from 11am until 11pm, for a 1-in-5 chance to win major prizes such as BMWs, a luxury time piece, Kennedy vouchers, hotel stays, and more.
STARFEST-goers can also enter The Star’s STARFEST wristband draw where $30,000 in total prizes are up for grabs every Friday and Saturday night. To enter, Members simply grab their wristband upon entry to STARFEST for the month of October.
