Ultra Australia Festival 2019
Following the success of last years’s sold out, first ever ‘Road to ULTRA Australia’ in Melbourne, ULTRA Worldwide announced the massive expansion of the globally renowned festival to two cities across the Australian continent: Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th February. With its growth into a full-scale festival, Ultra Australia proudly announces the addition of new stages, in addition to its iconic Main Stage, including the immersive, techno-heavy RESISTANCE stage.
Headlining the Main Stage all weekend, will be international superstars, The Chainsmokers (LIVE), Dutch wunderkid and DJ MAG’s #1 DJ Martin Garrix and the veiled Marshmello, all who will be making their Ultra Australia debut. Meanwhile, the Don of Drumcode, Adam Beyer, will be leading the charge for the RESISTANCE debut in Australia.
Event Organisers said: “After the thrilling debut of ‘Road to Ultra’ in Melbourne (last year), we are beyond excited to welcome the full scale ‘Ultra’ experience to both Melbourne and Sydney in February 2019 for ‘Ultra Australia.’ After watching the success of the event in Miami over the last 20 years and across the globe, it’s time we experienced this fantastic festival down under! Showcasing ‘Ultra Australia’ at two of the nation’s premiere venues in: Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne & Parramatta Park, Sydney.”
Joining the festivities at ‘Ultra Australia’ will be the incredibly talented: ‘Ultra Angels’ dancers who perform at all the Ultra Worldwide events, the ‘Voice of Dance Music’ & Host of Ultra Worldwide: Damian Pinto and the #1 DJ Photographer in the world & the one who captures those breath-taking festival images (and is a fave to Aussie shores): RUKES!
International superstars Illenium and Slushii, homegrown talent Sunset Brothers, Tigerlily and Will Sparks are also confirmed for their inaugural ULTRA Australia Main Stage performances. Techno stalwarts Dubfire and Nicole Moudaber are playing a special B2B set for the first time ever in Australia, as they join Adam Beyer as headliners on the RESISTANCE stage for what will be another momentous weekend for the pioneering concept.
