Yorkshire Tea Biscuit Brew and Toast & Jam Brew Launch Nationwide
Britain’s number one black tea brand, Yorkshire Tea, has just launched two of its much-loved, innovative specialty teas, Biscuit Brew and Toast & Jam Brew, to supermarkets nationwide.
Biscuit Brew actually tastes like biscuits (without the crumbs!) while Toast & Jam Brew combines the best of breakfast flavours with premium tea.
New research from Yorkshire Tea has revealed that biscuits are Australians’ favourite accompaniment to enjoy with a cup of tea (50% opt for tea and biscuits) while 23% prefer breakfast foods and 10% like cake with their tea, so it is only fitting that they will now be able to try these unique varieties for themselves.
The specialty brews began with an idea from Yorkshire Tea’s Tea Innovation Manager, Kate Halloran. She craved a sweet treat to give her a pick-me-up mid-morning and late afternoon, without the indulgence of a biscuit or pudding and wondered if the answer might be found in adding a twist to her brew. Experimenting in the tea tasting room at the Yorkshire Tea HQ in Harrogate, Yorkshire, UK, Kate explored her flavour cupboard and tried multiple recipes before eventually creating the perfect biscuity taste which became Biscuit Brew, and was soon followed by Toast & Jam. Every cup contains Yorkshire Tea at its heart, making the specialty brews perfect for black tea lovers who are looking for a bit of flavour variety without compromising on the comforting refreshment of a proper brew.
Kate Halloran says, “With our specialty brews, we set out to create the perfect combination of flavours to provide a proper pick me up in a mug. They’re for people who want that little something extra – whatever time of day, and we hope they’ll put a spring in the step of Aussie tea drinkers!”

Featuring all the happiness of tea and biscuits without the crumbs, consumers can experience the comforting taste of Yorkshire Tea with a smattering of malty sweetness for a biscuity flavour. This flavoured black tea can be enjoyed on its own or with milk.

Yorkshire Tea has squished the taste of the world’s greatest breakfast combo into an extra strong Yorkshire Tea blend. It’s a mighty morning brew with a lip-smacking smattering of toasty, jammy loveliness, ready to send tea drinkers into the day with a spring in their step, a smile in their soul and absolutely no jam on their chin.
Both new varieties come in boxes of 40 tea bags, made purely from Black Tea (Rainforest Alliance Certified) and natural flavourings. Both are available now from Coles (RRP $9.50 AUD).
