Pacha’s Summer Of Love
Pacha Sydney, presented by Heineken, has announced its brand new summer programme for 2013 – 2014. Over the sizzling summer months, Pacha will feature four spectacular shows including LOVE, a new pool club series celebrating rock, soul and disco from the sixties and seventies, headline sets from an unrivalled line-up of international headliners, exclusive Sydney residencies and a Defected in the House Pool Party.
Launching on Saturday 7 December, LOVE will transform ivy Pool Club into a true swingy 60s disco, celebrating a bygone age where hippies reigned supreme and love was the mantra. Inspired by ‘Flower Power’, one of Pacha Ibiza’s longest serving nights, the psychedelic pool club series will feature classics tracks from the 60s and 70s, delivered by Mr. Glass and Graham Mandroules. With performances from Pacha’s stellar cast in magnificent themed costumes, nostalgic styling throughout Pool Club and a dress code of peace and hippy, LOVE is a wild ride back in time, bursting with bright colours and bubbling with happiness. There will be six LOVE pool parties over summer.
WE R SCNDL is another of the four new shows to launch over summer. This exclusive new night featuring Melbourne Sound juggernaughts SCNDL can only be seen at Pacha Sydney and will kick off on 4 January. Leading the Melbourne Sound revolution, SCNDL are causing serious waves worldwide, with their single ‘Gypsy’ becoming one of this new genre’s biggest anthems. SCNDL’s cutting edge production and dance floor destroying sound will be taken to a whole new level with light displays, special effects, a custom-built stage and an army of world class dancers bringing this music movement to life. Two more sensational rotating shows featuring Pacha’s formidable cast of over 30 performers, aerialists, circus performers and Ibiza dancers will also be added to the summer repertoire, with each show specially designed to engage, entertain and amaze.
Pacha Sydney continues its dance domination over summer with exclusive residencies and an enviable roster of international headliners confirmed. Australia’s newest international superstar Will Sparks, Pacha Ibiza regular, Timmy Trumpet and unstoppable dance heroine Tigerlily have all signed exclusive Sydney residencies with Pacha Sydney in 2014. Headline sets have been confirmed with international heavy weights Laidback Luke, Deorro, Chris Lake, MAKJ, Art Department, Daddy’s Groove, Eddie Thoenick and Botnek and massive local talent Tommy Trash.
Pacha Sydney will also play host to a series mammoth Defected in the House Parties, bringing together two of the world’s biggest forces in dance music today. The Defected series will kick off with a Pool Club day party on 15 February, featuring American house legend MK. A global authority on dance with a rich history in the UK and Ibiza, Defected has defined the scene for over a decade. More than half a million people attend Defected events around the world each year.

Since launching in November 2012, it has been named ‘Club Night of the Year’ in 2013 In The Mix Awards and ‘Best Night Club’ in 2013 Australian Liquor Industry Awards.
