Bar Lucia x Two Minds Wines Exclusive Candlelight Dinner
For one night only, Bar Lucia in Potts Point will host an exclusive candlelight wine dinner featuring wines from the all-female-led In Two Minds Wines on Thursday, August 22 (2024), from 5pm.
This unique event brings together the award-winning winery and Bar Lucia’s dynamic female team, including Head Sommelier Kasia Sobiesiak and Bar Lucia Manager Julene Andres. The candlelight wine dinner promises a cosy and unforgettable winter evening.
Guests will enjoy a delectable set menu for just $49, featuring some of Bar Lucia’s most popular dishes such as oysters with cava mignonette, rye sourdough Tamaca, Jamon Serrano, a selection of croquetas (crab, chorizo, jamon, or spinach), and seafood paella.
Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine and can then select from a tasting menu of In Two Minds Wines:
Prosecco ($14), Chardonnay ($17), or a tasting of three wines for $24. The wine selection includes Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Rosé, Grenache (unoaked), and Shiraz, with wines available for purchase on the night.
Winemakers Katie Day and Nina Day will be present to personally pour wines and engage with diners, providing an exclusive opportunity for guests to interact directly with the creators of the wines. The talented winemakers will share their expertise, offering insights into the winemaking process, the unique characteristics of each wine, and the stories behind their vineyard. This personal touch will enhance the dining experience, creating a memorable and educational evening for wine enthusiasts and diners alike.
