Beach Club Aperol
Australia has adopted the Aperol Spritz as its most loved alcoholic Summer beverage as demand for Aperol has grown by 74.6 per cent in the last 12 months (AZTEC). This Summer, Aperol and The Bucket List will join forces this Summer to create Beach Club Aperol – the ultimate location to celebrate the Sydney summer whilst enjoying the sun, the sea and a Spritz.
The activation that will see Aperol transform the outdoor area at The Bucket List on the Bondi Beach foreshore into an exclusive Italian-Riviera inspired beach club from December 17th, 2015 to January 14th, 2016. The unique space will evoke balmy beachside evenings on the Amalfi Coast and is set to become Sydney’s hottest bar to see and be seen this Summer season.
The beach club will be complete with a bespoke Italian-inspired menu designed exclusively for the club by head chef of The Bucket List, Tom Walton. The menu offering will feature fresh Sydney rock oysters, house marinated olives with garlic, orange and rosemary, delicious mushroom and mozzarella arancini, San Danielle prosciutto share plates served with parmesan grissini and olives as well as polenta and fennel dusted calamari fritti served with fresh aioli and lemon.
Custom-designed décor imagined in a fresh colour palette of white and bright Aperol orange with hints of navy will set the scene for the perfect Instagram moment. The beach club will be furnished with welcome archways, an Amalfi coast inspired bar, custom seating, Aperol orange Vespas, Aperol life-buoys and Beach Club Aperol surfboards shaped and designed by Gunther Rohn.
An Aperol cocktail menu has been carefully curated for the beach club, offering this summer’s most fashionably seductive drink, the Aperol Spritz on tap – as well as modern, Bondi-inspired takes on the classic, such as the Popsicle Spritz , an Aperol Spritz served with a blood-orange popsicle in it.
