Crows Nest Festival
A family and friends day out on the leafy lower North Shore at the Crows Nest Festival – Sunday, 15 October in 2017 – 10am to 5pm.
Now in its 28th year, the Crows Nest festival offers an incredible variety of food and drink for family and friends to get together at long communal tables for lunch. The Festival attracts more than 50,000 visitors each year and is a highlight of the Lower North Shore’s annual event calendar.
The market stalls have great shopping for the whole family for the upcoming Festive Season with fashion, jewellery and bags for the ladies, eco-friendly children and baby goods, the latest in homewares, designer items for the family pets and Dad can have a turn in the jet simulator for a 737 and checkout his dream Christmas gift of a Jaguar, Land Rover and Audi.
The streets and laneways of Crows Nest will be completely transformed by stage and street entertainment. With great food central to this popular dining precinct, the cooking stage will be a special feature with local ‘chefs with taste’ preparing favourite recipes and sharing tastings of fantastic dishes.
With so much to do and see, the Festival is a real family and community day. Its wide choice of rides and interactive play activities make it a special fun day out for the ‘little kids’.
The new courtyard and rooftop terrace of the Crows Nest Hotel, an iconic landmark on the lower North Shore of Sydney for over 100 years, will be one of the many feature locations of the Festival.
So plan to bring your family and friends along for this fun family day out on the leafy Lower North Shore of Sydney – entry is free.
