Starring Andy Samberg in his first role after Saturday Night Live!
It’s every parent’s worst nightmare – a slacker full of New Age ideas.
Ken (Greg Davies, The Inbetweeners) is a very contented forty seven year old. He’s worked hard over the last twenty years and he’s got plenty to show for it – a happy marriage to his wife Lorna (Helen Baxendale, Cold Feed), a nice house, a successful pet food empire and a beautiful bright eighteen year old daughter, Rachel (Tamia Kari, The Inbetweeners Movie). Rachel is the apple of her Daddy’s eye. Having aced her A-levels last summer and won herself a place studying law at a prestigious London university, she decided to take a gap year. Over the last year, Ken and Lorna have been receiving postcards from far flung places, eagerly awaiting their darling daughter’s return…
Rachel returns from travelling. She now has dreadlocks. That wasn’t quite what her mum and dad were expecting. Oh, one other thing. While she was away she got married. To Cuckoo (Andy Samberg, Saturday Night Live). Meet the Parents crossed with Coming to America… This is a sitcom about family, marriage and a very eventful summer.
