Seoul Garden Opens in the Sydney CBD
Sydney’s next big feed is a grill-it-yourself one. Seoul Garden, the all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ and hot pot buffet with a loyal following in Melbourne and Queensland, opens its first New South Wales venue at The Galeries on this Friday the 9th of October, 2026.
It is the 10th Seoul Garden in the country and the first to add a live teppanyaki station and a hot noodle bar, both national firsts for the brand. Across 700sqm and 200 seats, guests can grill premium cuts at the table, build a hot pot, watch a chef work the teppanyaki hotplate and pick up a bowl at the noodle bar.
The buffet runs well past the grill. There is a sushi counter, a seafood display, hot appetisers, chef’s creations and classic Korean dishes, plus a self-serve cup noodle wall for anyone who likes their instant noodles done their way. Dessert is a sweets bar with a chocolate fountain. Behind the bar, soju cocktails and Korean beers keep the table going.
Meat is the main event, with more than 30 halal-approved options including wagyu, cooked on grills built into every table.
The space itself transports you to Korea, styled with jade-green tiles, marble and copper; each table features hung copper extraction flues over the grill tables and the space is heralded with hot pink neon signs in Korean script, with a neon cow on the wall for good measure.

“Sydney has been asking for us for a long time. We wanted the first one here to feel like an occasion, so we added a teppanyaki grill and a hot noodle bar that no other Seoul Garden has, and built a room people will want to stay in,” says Seoul Garden Co-Founders David Loh and Yong Qin.
“Everyone eats differently at Seoul Garden. Some come for the wagyu, some for the hot pot, some head straight for the noodles. In Sydney there is a lot more to choose from,” said Seoul Garden Partner Blake Wang.
Located at The Galleries in the heart of the CBD, Seoul Garden invites Sydneysiders to enjoy an authentic slice of Korean culture at $52.90 per person (and kids half price). Hosting over 200 guests, this newest venue solidifies Seoul Garden as a beloved destination for Korean BBQ in Sydney.
