2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot (RRP: $70.00)
Colour: Bright medium dark red
Palate: The palate displays sweet dark berry fruit with early gravelly notes. Hints of cedar an dbaylead add a nice savoury element to the wine. The wine is rich and complex with great length and balance supported by fine grained tannins and seamlessly French oak.
Food match: roasted, pan-seared or slow cooked meats, or crumbly aged cheeses.
2013 U12 North Block Cabernet Sauvignon (RRP: $90.00)
Colour: Medium dark red
Palate: The palate displays sweet dark berry fruit with hints of cedar, spice and graphite adding a savoury element to the wine. The wine is rich, dark and complex with excellent structure and balance supported by plush, silky tannins and seamlessly integrated French oak.
Food match: Estate lamb rack, courgette, confit garlic potato, tomato lamb jus.
2014 Shiraz (RRP: $38.00)
Colour: Medium dark red crimson
Palate: The palate displays layers of vibrant red, black and blue fruits with a silky texture and delicate floral spicy nuances. The fine layered tannins integrate seamlessly with hints of cedar and vanillan derived from the restrained use of French and American oak.
Food match: Medium bodied red, or lighter game meats, aged cheeses.
2014 Girt By Sea Cabernet Merlot (RRP: $28.00)
Colour: Medium dark red
Palate: A rich, smooth palate with complex layers of red and dark berry fruits. The palate is soft and juicy with hints of vanilla, spice and chocolate, supported by fine-grained tannins and perfectly integrated French oak.
Food match: Light enough for cold meats or tartare, yet intense enough for smoky barbequed red meats.
