Krewella return for MARQUEE NYE

New Year’s Eve at Marquee Sydney welcomes back Krewella for their first show in Australia since 2013.

Hailing from Chicago, the electro-punk sister duo are bringing their brand new sound to Marquee’s main room. With heavy rock and dance influences, the girls first burst onto the scene with their ‘Play Hard’ EP in 2011. Quickly amassing almost half a billion plays, they were pioneers in the industry.

Best known for their international breakthrough record ‘Alive’ in 2012, Krewella shot to fame both locally in the US and globally (today ‘Alive’ has over 59 million plays on YouTube). They debuted at #44 on the DJ Mag Top 100 poll the following year and have remained in the world’s Top 100 DJs every year since. Krewella, with the support of Billboard, streamed live from the 2016 Democratic National Convention putting them in tow with a league of artists including Beyonce, Jay Z and personalities such as Oprah.

They recently performed their hit single ‘Broken Record’ from the latest critically acclaimed EP ‘Ammunition’ live at the MTV Fandom Awards 2016 and just completed a sold out North American Sweatbox Tour.
