Leichhardt Long Lunch
Sam Moran, a former member of The Wiggles and a true star of children’s entertainment will be at the Leichhardt Long Lunch on 29 May to provide an energetic and exciting array of music, song and dance – the kids – and you – will love.
The live show will be staged in the large outdoor area adjoining the Leichhardt Town Hall. ‘Long Lunch’ communal tables will be there for family and friends to gather and enjoy fine food and good wine from a wide range of stalls.
Inside the Town Hall there will be cooking demonstrations by ‘chefs with taste’ who will share their talents, their recipes and, most importantly, their food, with Leichhardt Long Lunch visitors.
The ‘Leichhardt Antiques Show’ run by Raffan Kelaher & Thomas of Leichhardt will alternate with cooking demonstrations. It is similar in concept to the Antiques Road Show on television where experts give free appraisals of treasures and collectibles.
The Leichhardt Long Lunch will run from 11am to 5pm, and represent the Inner West as a premier Sydney food and wine district. It will also provide opportunities for local artisans and businesses in the Inner West including Leichhardt, Annandale, Balmain, Rozelle, Lilyfield and Birchgrove to showcase their products and skills.
So be sure to join in this family fun community day out on 29 May with Sam, roving entertainers, cooking demonstrations by local chefs. Admission is free!
