A masterpiece of design and featuring a vertical garden and bespoke furniture that creates an atmosphere of sophisticated comfort, Luna Lu immediately captivates with its harmonious blend of limestone and wood, accentuating its sophisticated ambience. So luxurious is its interior that it was featured in a recent episode of new series, ‘Made In Bondi’.

Luna Lu’s decor boasts custom-made, stylish furniture – from chic, spacious dining chairs in a palette of mustard, teal, and blue hues, complemented by statement suede loungers and marble tables. The attention to detail extends to the dining settings, featuring hand-crafted ceramics, gold-edged cutlery, and chopsticks.

Luna Lu has plenty of unique experiences for visitors to enjoy including a very special High Tea. They have reconceptualised High Tea with a modern-Asian twist, to include their delicate and colourful dumplings (which you can learn to make at their dumpling masterclasses) and other perfect bites.

With its idyllic backdrop and panoramic waterfront views, it’s the perfect venue to indulge in a High Tea and celebrate any occasion. Alongside classics like freshly baked English scones with jam and cream, mini Mille Feuilles and macaroons, enjoy a selection of Luna Lu’s premium dumplings, with delicate prawn toasts and spring rolls – all handcrafted by an award winning team.

Luna Lu’s High Tea is available every Saturday and Sunday from 12:00pm – 4:00pm with prices starting at $80pp, which includes a glass of sparkling on arrival and bottomless tea and coffee. While there are a number of special events to keep abreast of – including their Immersive Dining experience every Thursday and Sunday night – you can enjoy Luna Lu’s offerings any day of the week.

Luna Lu’s menu features plenty of locally sourced high-quality Australian ingredients. Some of their tempting small plates include premium grade fresh oysters from Merimbula, delicious Tuna Tataki (Yellowfin tuna from Ulladulla), Hokkaido Scallop Sashimi, Lobster And King Prawn Wonton, Black Angus Ranger Valley Short Beef Ribs, Pork Belly Bao and the always outstanding Kataifi Prawns (Kataifi wrapped tiger prawns, yuzu avocado, sweet and spiced mayo and fresh starfruit) – so light, crispy and super tasty!

More substantial offerings include the finger-licking good Honey Yuzu Crispy Fried Chicken, Peking Duck Salad, MB4 Wagyu Steak, Crispy Barramundi Fillet, Canton-Style Salmon and the superb Seafood Candied Fried Rice which tops our list. With XO Hokkaido scallops, king prawns, beetroot puree, pickle cabbage and ginger, it’s an absolutely delicious combination which will just have you coming back for more.
