Meet the Queen of Pop

After over 20 years of a noticeable absence on the shores of Australia, Madonna has finally made an exciting appearance at Madame Tussauds Sydney in the form of not one, but three wax figures.

The three styles of the legendary performer represent Madonna from her most recent ‘MDNA’ tour, her ‘Sticky and Sweet’ tour as well as her infamous ‘Like a Virgin’ look that fans around the world know and love. Famous for her ever changing style, the unique superstar’s newest wax incarnation is inspired by her latest ‘MDNA’ tour and shows her in a dramatic performance pose wearing a fitted pin-stripped trouser suit with a striking black metallic leather corset. The second figure portrays Madonna at the outset of her meteoric rise to fame in her 1984 MTV ‘Like a Virgin’ grungy bridal outfit and the third shows her in the knee high black boots, black satin jacket, fingerless gloves and cane from her ‘Sticky and Sweet’ tour.

The figures will be joining an iconic cast of female performers including Rihanna, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Kylie Minogue, all of whom at some point in their lives would have no doubt been inspired by the Queen of Pop and her iconic career.

This is a first time Madame Tussauds  Sydney have ever launched three different figures of one female performer, so it’s a very special event. But the Madonna figures will be at the attraction for a limited time only, until October 2014, so those who want to see her in triplicate should make plans to do so now!
