Nespresso Unveils Artwork

Sydney’s Bondi Junction Nespresso Boutique has just unveiled a vibrant painting created by Bondi local and artist, Robin Clare, to celebrate the introduction of two Limited Edition Italian-inspired coffees, Tribute to Milano and Tribute to Palermo.

Entitled ‘A Bene Placito’, which translates to ‘at pleasure’, Nespresso has commissioned the Sydney-based artist to bring to life the new range of Italian-inspired Limited Edition coffees by drawing on her own visions of Italy, which stem from her interest in the aesthetic of classic Italian cinema.

Robin commented: “The artwork depicts Italian film star Sophia Loren in a moment of ‘dolce far niente’ or ‘delicious idleness’, basking in the Italian sun against a backdrop of Italian models – a juxtaposition that emphasises the contrasting cultures of both Milan and Palermo for Nespresso.”

Nespresso Club Members and guests are invited to experience its newest coffee innovations, Tribute to Milano and Tribute to Palermo, which have been inspired by the two vibrant and contrasting cities in Italy that reflect the country’s rich and diverse coffee cultures.

Elegant and aromatic, Tribute to Milano reflects the elegant and vibrant city of Milan and combines a blend of Arabicas from South and Central America, reinforced with a washed Guatemalan Robusta.

In contrast, Tribute to Palermo is powerful, rich and spicy, reflecting the rustic spirit of Palermo in Southern Italy, whose residents tend to prefer a stronger coffee than in the north. This intense ristretto is a blend of Arabicas and Robustas from Africa, Nespresso’s first Grand Cru coffee sourced 100% from Africa.

The artwork will be on display exclusively within Sydney’s Bondi Junction Nespresso Boutique.

The Limited Editions Tribute to Milano and Tribute to Palermo are available for purchase for a limited time at Nespresso Boutiques, the Nespresso Club and Online. RRP $8.90 for a sleeve of 10 capsules.
