Dedicated to creating gelato that doesn’t compromise on quality, it is all about freshness and authenticity stemming from one key principle – a constant quest in the world for natural ingredients exemplifying purity and intensity.

With stores in Barangaroo and Darlinghurst, comprising of speciality flavours ultimately showcasing the extravagance of Sicilian Marsala. Think caramelised figs, house-made Barozzi tarts and a touch of Arabica coffee, RivaReno is blending unexpected tastes and flavours with both traditional and exotic ingredients. Each speciality is the fruit of RivaReno’s creativity and reflects its curiosity for the culinary traditions of other cultures.

No flavour becomes a RivaReno flavour unless it passes one simple test: blindfolded, with no prior knowledge, one should be able to pick the flavour immediately.

Using no hydrogenated fats, artificial colourings, flavourings or preservatives, the gelato is produced daily in an in store laboratorio, only a few hours before serving. Developed to perfection using milk from pastures high up in the Maritime and Cottian Alps, between France and Italy – RivaReno Gelato is a uniquely intense, creamy and velvety experience.

Bringing a little bit of Italy to Sydney, the traditional Pozzetti Counter is the authentic way to preserve freshness, quality and all things good in the gelato. Storing every delectable flavour in closed cylinders deep inside the counter is what puts RivaReno above the rest, eliminating the risk of oxidisation and ensuring the highest of quality product.

REAL fruit is used to make their show stopping fruit sorbets and granitas, with each flavour containing over 55% fruit and no syrups or flavourings. Many of the citrus fruits come from Sicily, with the Bergamot sourced from Calabria and incredible produce sourced at local Sydney markets taking advantage of seasonal fruit grown in the area.
