About Tasting Australia
Held annually in Adelaide and across South Australia, Tasting Australia presented by RAA Travel is a showcase of all things South Australian: our people, our produce and our place. Each autumn we invite audiences to step beyond a standard food festival and discover deliciously different experiences that feed their curiosity. Indulgent lunches with friends, boutique beverages served fireside in Town Square and menus created by world-class chefs are just a taste. The festival began in 1997 and continues to deliver both innovative events and the informal excellence our state does so well.
Board a Tasting Australia Airlines flight to destinations you’ve always wanted to explore. Savour the magic that happens when local legends are joined by top chefs from around the nation – moments impossible to recreate. Sip your way through a wine, beer or spirit masterclass, sampling South Australian gems alongside those from further afield. Head to the heart of Adelaide or enjoy a regional getaway. Make memories.
This beloved event is your chance to enjoy the adventures only South Australia can offer.
Co-Festival Directors Darren Robertson and Karena Armstrong shape the diverse annual program alongside Food Curator Emma McCaskill and Drinks Curators Meira Harel and Banjo Harris Plane. Simon Bryant, one of South Australia’s real food heroes – is patron.
