ZAFFI launches Express Menu and ZAFFI Thursdays

ZAFFI is celebrating its first birthday by launching an Express Menu as well as regular ZAFFI Thursday nights to kick off the weekend early. Because Thursdays are the new Fridays, right? For the Express Menu, Chef Hunt impresses with a culinary selection inspired by his prestigious career at Australia’s finest restaurants. From the innovative flavours to the traditional techniques, every dish is a celebration of culinary excellence.
The menu kicks off with Manoosh Khabaz (oven baked flatbread with Za’tar) before getting into standouts such as Tuna Fatteh (raw yellowfin tuna, smoked eggplant, yoghurt dressing and fried Jerusalem artichoke), Shish Barak (Wagyu beef dumplings, yoghurt sauce and mint) and the super delicious Kofta Cinnamon Sticks (Lamb kofta, tahini and pickled onion) which are so scrumptious, they’ll take your taste buds on an adventure.
With Hummus, Burrata and Batata Harra also included on the Express Menu, its $50 price tag offers outstanding value and makes it a no-brainer choice when dining here. Every dish is infused with the rich flavours of tradition and innovation. The aroma of spices mingling with the crackle of the fire sets the stage for a dining experience unlike any other.
Wash it all down with a drink or two – the wine list is extensive with various whites, reds, pinks and bubbles to choose from. There are also some highly impressive cocktails – we highly recommend the Downtown Delight with Pampero, Coconut, Turkish Delight, Citrus and Aquafaba and the Avant Garden with Kettle One, Lychee, Raspberry Rose and Aquafaba. A luscious and fresh combination that’s so easily drinkable and a great way to end the night on a high.
