The Woollahra Hotel is Bringing Europe’s Après Ski Parties to Sydney
The Upstairs Terrace at The Woollahra Hotel is being transformed into Sydney’s ultimate après ski destination.
Inspired by Europe’s iconic La Folie Douce venues in Val Thorens and Val d’Isère, Après Ski at The Woollahra will run from 29 July – 9 August, 2026. It’s where the day’s skiing gives way to dancing, cocktails and celebrations that continue long after the lifts have closed! Think a European-style ski chalet complete with alpine styling, faux snow, luxury ski fashion moments and all the atmosphere of a mountain lodge – without expensive air fare or freezing temps!
Embrace the après ski lifestyle with a limited-edition menu of winter cocktail specials ($18) alongside nostalgic late-night jaffles ($12, served 8-10pm) filled with combos such as truffle, mustard & three cheeses; beef brisket, jalapeño & Monterey Jack; and Nutella, marshmallow & sprinkles! Sydneysiders will also have the chance to win the ultimate ski season-inspired prize: a $3,000 Visa Gift Card and a Perfect Moment ski jacket from the luxury skiwear label renowned for its fashion-forward mountain style.
Across the two-week takeover, ticketed Après Ski parties will take over the Upstairs Terrace on Saturday 1 August and Saturday 8 August, bringing two unforgettable nights of winter revelry. Headlined by Harvey M and Yolanda Be Cool, tickets are $18 and include a welcome winter cocktail on arrival. Guests are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the slopes in their best après ski attire, with festivities kicking off from 6pm ‘til late!

Inspired by the indulgent rituals of après ski culture, Woollahra Hotel’s winter menu will feature four limited-edition cocktails designed to take guests from “first run” to last drinks:

– Summit – Tanqueray, Lillet Rosé, Select Aperitivo and grapefruit
– Fresh Powder – Ketel One, Vedrenne Bergamot, Noilly Prat and citrus zest

Keeping with the après ski tradition of post-slope comfort food, Woollahra Hotel will also revive the humble jaffle with a nostalgic late-night menu available Tuesday to Sunday from 8pm–10pm:
