Beer’s & Tee’s Launch
Fashion media and Newtown’s finest came together at Young Henry’s Brewery in Newtown to share a beer or few in the celebration of the launch of rock n’ roll label, Lou Lou Rocks.
Held in the brewery’s huge warehouse space, oversized tanks of beer, rustic wooden barrels and graffiti clad walls set the perfect backdrop for an evening of chilled out, beer fuelled fun.
Delicious Thai food with a twist (and a lot of spice) was served by renowned chef Chris Yarnprasitkul from Chris’s Kitchen in Glebe- formerly the chef at Sumalee Thai at the Bank hotel. Washed down with Young Henry’s fresh beer and crisp cider, it was the perfect combo for the palette.
Printed tees were thrashed, pinned and decorated at a customisation station. With studs, scissors, ribbons and leopard print, guests competed for a growler of their choice of Young Henry’s beer or cider. Winners were Emily Gibb from Cleo Magazine, Romi Nam a freelance stylist and Trent McWhinney from According to Anderssen.
