Betty Boop Student Design Collection
This year sassy American pop icon Betty Boop celebrates launches the Betty Boop Student Design Sleepwear Collection in Bras N Things.
Betty Boop and Bras N Things teamed up with the young, up-and-coming fashion talent from The Whitehouse Institute of Design in an exciting student design competition where students were briefed to incorporate Betty Boop into a sleepwear range.
Three talented students, Victoria Mott, Sira Sous and Abbey Beaumont, were chosen by a panel of industry design experts from Melbourne’s Whitehouse Institute of Design, to work with Bras N Things to create a Betty Boop signature sleepwear range for the retailer.
“We are thrilled that Merchantwise is in collaboration with Bras N Things and the talented students from The Whitehouse Institute,” said Cathleen Titus, King Features Vice President, International Licensing. “To have our licensing agency in Australia involved in nurturing the young designer talent through a rare opportunity with one of that country’s largest retailers is a real coup and wonderful exposure for our Betty Boop character.”
The Student Design Collection ‘I Lace You’ takes its inspiration from the fashion history era of the 1920s, featuring winter shades of aubergine, lace detail and royal purples and beautiful fine cotton. The range includes a long sleeve PJ set and a short sleeve two-piece PJ set priced at A$59.99 and a nightie A$49.99.
Made from 100% cotton, the limited-edition sleepwear capsule “The I Lace You” has something for everyone with soft finishing touches and gorgeous lace detailing and is now available from Bras N Things.
