A Taste Of Lebanon Is Coming To Sydney
From sizzling Lebanese street food to stretchy ice cream served with a side of theatre, Sydney’s Hay St Market is bringing a taste of Lebanon to the city this November!
Returning for its second year on 14–15 November 2026, the Hay St Lebanese Festival will transform the laneway into a vibrant celebration of Lebanese food, culture and traditions, complete with authentic street food, traditional music, cultural performances and live entertainment.
And there’s plenty to get your camera out for! One of the highlights will be BuBooza, bringing its signature Lebanese-style ice cream to Hay St. Known for its theatrical preparation and playful serving experience, it’s as much a show as it is a sweet treat.
A TASTE OF LEBANON
Discover a delicious selection of Lebanese favourites, from freshly baked man’oushe by Pizzarina and sizzling shawarma to traditional mezze, artisan charcuterie and cheeses from Fina’s Deli.
For something sweet, Dolci & Co will be serving traditional Lebanese desserts including baklava, knefeh and maamoul, alongside the much-loved BuBooza Ice Cream.
Complete the experience with Lebanese wines, traditional arak, refreshing drinks and Lebanese-inspired cocktails.
LIVE MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT
Get ready for two days of music, dancing and celebrations, featuring live Lebanese bands, DJs, traditional oud and violin performances, roaming drummers and belly dancers.
Saturday 14 November: Entertainment from 12pm, with traditional performances throughout the afternoon, followed by belly dancing and a live Lebanese band from 7pm until 10pm.
Sunday 15 November: Entertainment from 11am, including roaming percussion and traditional musicians, followed by belly dancing and a live Lebanese band from 5pm until 8pm.
