Following last year’s success, Australia‘s Bleu Blanc Rouge French Festival will burst onto Sydney’s Circular Quay foreshore at Customs House and adjoining Customs House Square, for three days from Friday 11 July to Sunday 13 July to celebrate Bastille Day.

The dazzling outdoor festival is unique offering and a vibrant salute to France’s National Day – Le quatorze juillet (14th of July), providing 3 live concerts, delicious French food, cooking masterclasses, artist performances, cabaret and an outdoor film inspired by French style and esprit.

On Friday evening guests will be entertained with an incredible free Cabaret show by the exceptional Slide group showcasing dancers and singers on stage followed by an open air cinema which will offer a free screening of a French film from 8:30pm to 10:30pm.

Sydney and France’s finest DJ’s will be spinning funky French and international beats on Saturday night for dance lovers in Customs House square, entertaining a giant crowd of revellers who will party on into the night.

During the day guests are spoilt with an array of exquisite French cuisine on offer in the Festival village. The market place will consist of 30 beautiful French market stalls offering mouth-watering delights including; French breads, cheeses, delicious French pastries, crepes, chocolates, fantastic French Wines, Champagne and liquors.

One of the highlights of the three day festival is the French Cooking Classes where guests will have the opportunity to learn the true art of cooking French cuisine. The Festival ambassador, Emmanuel Mollois, from ABC’s Poh’s kitchen, will be leading the festival by opening with Consul de France and hosting his own French patisserie master classes for all to enjoy.

‘Bastille Day is a strong part of the French tradition, and for this occasion, in every French village people play music and dance with family and friends. The Bleu Blanc Rouge French Festival is an opportunity to celebrate ‘Bastille Day’ like the French do in Sydney where we can provide three fun filled days with fantastic activities which are free and open to everyone’ states Vincent Hernandez, Director of the Bleu Blanc Rouge Festival.
