Buffalo Trace Shouts Australia’s Biggest Round To Launch Chris Stapleton’s Traveller Whiskey Brand

The World’s Most Awarded Distillery, Buffalo Trace, in collaboration with 11x Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and musician Chris Stapleton, is shouting the largest whiskey round ever seen in an Australian capital city to celebrate the launch of Traveller Whiskey.

Beginning on 27 February 2025, Jolene’s Sydney will become the Traveller pop-up bar for one month, offering free Traveller Whiskey Tastings and more. The ultimate Aussie shout will see thousands of complimentary whiskey tastings poured at 8pm nightly.

Traveller Whiskey is the first-of-its-kind collaboration of collective artistry between Chris Stapleton and Buffalo Trace Distillery’s own master distiller, Harlen Wheatley. It is the carefully curated result of countless hours of testing, tasting and dedication to craftsmanship that has produced powerful songs and world-class whiskeys. Now, Traveller Whiskey is making its debut on Australian shores – and what’s more Australian than shouting a round for your mates?

The Traveller launch in early 2025 will coincide with the sold-out Australian leg of Stapleton’s All-American Road Show tour, offering fans and whiskey lovers the chance to come along and “shout your mates”.

Set within the epic walls of Jolene’s Sydney, Traveller Whiskey’s pop-up bar promises more than just a tasting – it promises an immersive experience that will include:

– Free Whiskey Tastings every night (Tuesday – Saturday) from February 27th through til the end of March. One tasting per person, served nightly at 8pm.

– Traveller inspired cocktails & food – drink highlights include ‘East Kentucky Sweet Tea’, paying homage to Chris’ East Kentucky home with blackberry liqueur (the state fruit of Kentucky) and Traveller Whiskey. The droolworthy all-American menu includes ‘Traveller tater tots’ – crispy tater tots topped with smoked brisket, liquid cheese and Traveller Whiskey infused BBQ sauce.

– Immersive Traveller inspired events: Live country music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, plus other surprise and delight experiences for guests who pop by!

In a time when more than a third of Aussies are less likely to shout a mate a drink (according to recent data from Tyro), Stapleton’s Traveller Whiskey is bringing generosity back to the bar. Because whether it’s about a whiskey, a song, or a story – Traveller knows how to bring people together.
