China Republic Restaurant Sydney
China Republic Restaurant Sydney is one of three food and beverage venues to have recently opened at World Square. China Republic is a unique restaurant concept serving contemporary modern cuisine and has selected World Square as its location of choice to open its first restaurant in Sydney. Ramen Zundo (featuring the owners of the award winning Sushi Fusion and Monkey Magic) and Sourdough Panini Bakery & Bar have also opened at World Square:
CHINA REPUBLIC
Sydney-siders are set to discover a taste of modern Beijing in Sydney with the launch and opening of China Republic (located at Shop 10.41 World Square Shopping Centre), who will be serving up contemporary modern cuisine. China Republic has chosen World Square as the destination to open their first restaurant where they will showcase traditional Chinese dishes cooked with seasonal and carefully sourced ingredients by a team of Beijing-trained chefs. A feature of the restaurant is the purpose-built Peking duck oven, roasting close to 100 ducks a day. Guests can choose their own duck, further adding to the theatre of the China Republic dining experience. China Republic is also home to the ‘second level’ which features private dining rooms as well as having an open-style, slightly elevated kitchen with a great communal area to dine and watch firsthand the kitchen staff with fine finesse and style.
RAMEN ZUNDO
Owners of the award winning Monkey Magic and Sushi Fusion have opened the Ramen Zundo noodle bar at World Square, bringing their excellence to the southern part of the city and expanding the food choices. Ramen Zundo offers customers the perfect opportunity to experience the art of noodles with an international chef from Hong Kong headlining the kitchen. With an established reputation for excellence in food, Ramen Zundo promises to provide a unique experience in Asian cuisine. Ramen Zundo has specifically selected World Square to trial this new bakery & bar concept following the latest international food trends of Ramen noodles being the soul food of Asian cuisine.
SOURDOUGH PANINI BAKERY & BAR
Following the success of the York Street’s Sourdough Panini Bakery, part of the cities latest trend in laneway and hidden food and drink venues, World Sqaure takes this one step further with the opening of the Panini Bakery & Bar, the first of its kind for the chain. Known for their amazing lunch time Panini’s, Sourdough Panini Bakery & Bar is all about the exceptional traditional sourdough bread, complimentary fillings and now a range of beverages. Once just a café serving Bakery, now a café serving Bakery & Bar, this addition will set to change the way Panini’s are served.
