Chris Sebastian: Winner Of The Voice 2020
Sydney’s Chris Sebastian has been crowned winner of Nine’s The Voice Australia for 2020 following the Grand Finale. His performance of ‘Numb’ by Linkin Park and stunning duet of ‘Horses’ with Daryl Braithwaite charmed audiences across Australia with their votes driving him to take out the coveted title.
Sebastian, from Team Kelly, has been one of the favourites right through this year’s series, giving Kelly Rowland a second win in the ratings-topping series. In one of the closest voting results in the history of The Voice Australia, Sebastian edged out teen Siala Robson, Johnny Manuel and Stellar Perry.
In taking out The Voice season 9, Sebastian has won the grand prize of a recording contract with EMI Music Australia along with $100,000 in prizemoney. EMI will soon be releasing ‘The Complete Collection’ which will include his single ‘Bed For 2’ and his four chair-turning performance of ‘Jealous’ in the Blind Auditions.
